Super convenient location with tonnes of small shops and stores around and plenty of food. Loved walking around the neighbourhood and wished we had more time to explore more in the area! Close to attractions and malls.

Probably the best location for a stay in Kobe, right in the centre of Kobe with everything within easy reach. Mainline Station for rail and underground, bus station, major shopping streets and a plethora of eating places for all types of cuisine, including a McDonald's for fast and convenient food. The cut price small department store directly opposite the hotel is an excellent source of essential supplies and even gifts. Having heard a lot about tiny Japanese hotel rooms, we were pleasantly surprised by the very acceptable standard size of our room. Enough space for 2 people to move around in when in the room, which isn't often when you are holiday. The shower room was a good size and the rainfall shower was brilliant with good water pressure and temperature controls. Although reception informed us that housekeeping was only once every 3 days, in actual fact they cleaned, made up and restocked the room every day. New clean pyjamas every day and slippers replaced as and when needed. We did not have an inclusive deal with breakfast and on the three occasions that we ate there, we felt that perhaps there could have been a little more choice. But this was maybe becauseof the available space. That aside it was a good experience. The free coffee and tea all day, and free ice cream in the evenings is a generous and appreciated offering. The ice machines on alternate floors is a considerate provision. If they could provide an all day cafe or restaurant menu, this would certainly raise the hotel to nearer a full 4 star rating.

Breakfast was very good. Choice was limited but very tasty. Staff were busy but very friendly and helpful. Service was exceptional. The room was very comfortable and the tv has youtube and netflix access, which is a bonus. I only wish black tea was offered in the room. Hotel location was very good - just over 5 minute walk to Sannomiya station and shopping/eating streets. There are plenty of food choices within minutes of the hotel. Nunobiki Herb garden, Meriken park and Kobe port are also within walking distance. We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed our stay at Royal Park Canvas hotel. This property should be your top choice if planning a stay in Kobe.

I was hesitant about choosing Kobe instead of Kyoto, Osaka, or Nara, but this hotel proved top-notch by location without breaking the bank. It's a 5 minute walk from the main Kobe station, and getting to anywhere in Kansai takes an hour tops. It's also within two minutes of two convenience stores and a is across from a MASSIVE Don Quijote discount grocery/goods store (make sure to get the 2L of water for ¥75!) MASSIVE and high-end shower/tub too.

Spent a long time looking at Kobe hotels and was very happy with this choice. Great location just 10 min walk from Sannomiya station so really convenient for transport links and the airport bus. Lots of restaurants and convenient stores outside. Just 5 minutes from the main shopping area. Really liked the free tea and coffee all day and life cream in the evening. Good little gym with a selection of dumbbells, 2 treadmills and one bike. Three washer/dryers. Room was small as expected in Japan but there was a good shower /bathroom. Would happily stay again

Great location, easy walk to/from the Sannomiya station. We used Kobe as a base for exploring Osaka and Kyoto, and it worked out well. The neighborhood has lots of restaurants, bars, clubs, and places to shop for souvenirs and snacks. Especially enjoyed an evening at the Sone Jazz Club, which is within 10 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel offers free ice cream every night. Staff is very helpful.

I booked and indicated for 2adults only since my tod could still stay for free. Upon checked-in when the staff noticed my boy, he handed us extra ammenities meant for kids and I truly appreciate that gesture. It shows how attentive they were. The room had black out curtain and pretty quiet, my hubby loved it as it helped us rest better since the sun rises much earlier during the period of our visit. The room size is normal for Japan standard. Room big enough 2+1 with 1 large and 1 small luggage. The shower room did not come with bath tub like most Japanese hotels but i guess it catered more for foreigners, and we were ok with that. The lounge provided complimetary ice cream and popcorn for inhouse guests. We had them after a day out so it was really a nice treat especially for my tod. Breakfast spread was limited since its a small hotel but the food was yummy.

We recently stayed at this hotel in Kobe and had a fantastic experience. One of the best things about the hotel is its location. It’s situated in an area full of great restaurants and shops, which made it easy for us to find places to eat and do some last-minute shopping without having to venture too far. Whether you’re in the mood for Japanese cuisine or something more international, there’s no shortage of dining options just a short walk from the hotel. Our room was much bigger than we expected, especially by Japanese standards, and the bathroom was modern and spacious, which made our stay even more comfortable. It was a welcome retreat after long days of sightseeing. We loved having so much space to unwind and relax at the end of each day. The Wi-Fi worked flawlessly throughout our stay, which was a big relief since we needed it for both work and leisure. The connection was fast and reliable, allowing us to stream videos and stay connected without any interruptions. One of the biggest conveniences for us was the fact that the hotel is only a 5-minute walk from the Airport Limousine Bus stop, which made getting back to Kansai Airport incredibly easy. We didn’t have to worry about booking a taxi or navigating the train system with our luggage, and the short walk made our departure stress-free.

The hotel is quite new, with a very convenient location (but see the parts I did not like), with efficient self check in. Room was comfortable, bed was quite hard but that is the way I like it. I had breakfast one of the mornings and it was ok and value for money compared with other hotels.

We arrived early and luckily, we were able to check-in free of charge because our room was ready. The little pamphlet we were given at check-in, was compact and super useful with all the details we needed to know about the hotel. The room is very nicely decorated, with the blue and grey wallpaper, and the oak colour furniture. We also really liked the corner table, which we used as a breakfast nook. The bed is big and comfortable, with nice pillows. We slept super well. The bathroom is spacious and the shower has a normal shower head as well as a rain shower head. There is an ironing room on all of the guest floors, if we remember correctly, which we thought was super convenient. We enjoyed the free tea/coffee/ice cream in the lobby restaurant in the evening. The hotel has a cool vibe to it, even the staff dress more casually and don’t wear uniforms. We really enjoyed our stay. :)
